SFJ has challenged the decision to hold a celebratory show in Delhi on that day, which is commemorated worldwide as “Sikh Genocide Day.” In a video message, SFJ General Counsel Gurpatwant Singh Pannun said, “1 November is Sikh Genocide Day. This day, linked to the genocide against Sikhs, cannot be turned into a day of celebration. Diljit is going to perform a show in the same Delhi where, on 1 November 1984, thousands of Sikhs were burned alive with tires placed around their necks, Sikh women were subjected to mass rape, and Gurdwaras were attacked and destroyed.” Pannun further said, “First embracing Bachchan, who gave the call for ‘Blood for Blood’ on 31 October 1984, and now performing a show in Delhi on 1 November — Diljit is continuing the process of making the perpetrators of the 1984 Sikh Genocide acceptable again and presenting their actions as normal.” Referencing the declaration by Sikhs’ highest temporal seat, Sri Akal Takht Sahib, labeling the November 1984 massacre of Sikhs as “Sikh Genocide,” Pannun asked: “I ask Sri Akal Takht Sahib, SGPC and DSGMC: Can Sikhs consider it justified for Diljit to hold a celebratory show in Delhi on the day of Sikh Genocide? And Would it be justified for a Guru’s Sikh to pick up arms to take revenge from Diljit?” SFJ OFFERS Rs. 51 LAKH REWARD TO “STORM & STOP” DILJIT DOSANJH’S 1 NOVEMBER SHOW IN DELHI “I ask Sri Akal Takht Sahib, SGPC and DSGMC: WOULD it be justified for a Guru’s Sikh to pick up arms for Justice against the perpetrators of 1984 Sikh Genocide?” “Delhi’s Widow Colony, home to hundreds of Sikh women who were raped in 1984, will bleed once again if Diljit’s 1 November show continues.” — Pannun Secessionist group Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) has offered a Rs. 51 lakh reward to “Storm and Stop” Diljit Dosanjh’s 1 November show at JLN Stadium in Delhi , challenging the decision to hold a celebratory concert on a date commemorated globally as “Sikh Genocide Day.” “1 November is Sikh Genocide Day. A day marked by genocidal violence against Sikhs cannot be normalized as a day of celebration. Diljit is choosing to perform in Delhi — the very city where, on 1 November 1984, thousands of Sikhs were burned alive with tyres around their necks, women were gang-raped, and Gurdwaras were attacked and destroyed,” stated SFJ General Counsel Gurpatwant Singh Pannun in a video message. “First embracing Bachchan, who gave the ‘Blood for Blood’ call on 31 October 1984, and now performing in Delhi on 1 November — Diljit is continuing the normalization and rehabilitation of the perpetrators of the 1984 Sikh Genocide,” added Pannun. Invoking the declaration of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, the highest temporal seat of the Sikhs, recognizing the November 1984 killings as the Sikh Genocide, Pannun asked: “I ask Sri Akal Takht Sahib, SGPC and DSGMC: @SGPCPresident CAN Sikhs justify Diljit’s action of performing a celebratory show in Delhi on Sikh Genocide Day❓️ AND WOULD it be justified for a Guru’s Sikh to pick up arms for justice against the perpetrators of 1984 Sikh Genocide?” SIMPLE QUESTION… @diljitdosanjh Why is DILJIT DOSANJH holding a show on Sikh genocide day Nov 1 in DELHI❓️ How does one justify this❓️ This guy @diljitdosanjh is a 🤡 #sikhgenocide #Delhi #DiljitDosanjh #diljitdosanjhlive #Khalistani #Diljit #Dosanjh @presidentdsgmc Video — http://shitter.thepixora.com/Trump_khalsa/status/2106998468011037135#m Source: https://x.com/ZORADOABAghw8/status/2107000645161030017
