#Hyderabad Sudhakar Udumula (@sudhakarudumula) Student injured by falling iron rod at Barkas school, contractor booked A 15-year-old girl suffered a head injury after an iron rod fell from the second floor of an under-construction portion of a government school at Barkas in Hyderabad. The incident occurred on October 5 at the Government Girls High School near Jumera Hotel in Maisaram, Barkas, under the Chandrayangutta police station limits. The injured student, identified as Nasreen Jahan Begum, is a Class 8 student at the school. According to the complaint lodged by her father, Mohammed Anwar Khan, the school principal informed him around 12.50 pm that construction work was underway on the second floor of the school premises. The contractor was allegedly carrying out the work without adequate safety measures or protective barricading. During the construction, an iron rod reportedly fell from the second floor and struck Nasreen on the head while classes were being conducted in the lower floors. She sustained a serious head injury and was taken to Owaisi Hospital for emergency treatment. Her treatment was recorded under MLC No. 1526/2026. The girl's father later approached the Chandrayangutta police and sought action against those responsible for allegedly failing to put safety measures in place despite students being present in the building. Based on the complaint, Chandrayangutta police registered a case under Section 125(a) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and took up an investigation. #Barkas #Governmentschool #Hyderabad #Telangana Video — http://shitter.thepixora.com/sudhakarudumula/status/2108244904887640453#m Source: https://x.com/Gadiyaara/status/2108432455875346640
