It's lyk d vehicles nvr moved! #Universitycircle 2day! @PuneCityTraffic @Sidshirole Pune Mirror (@ThePuneMirror) To resolve persistent traffic congestion at Rajiv Gandhi IT Park in Hinjawadi, the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) and the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) have finalized a comprehensive master plan. The project will construct and upgrade a network of 21 internal roads spanning approximately 20 kilometers to connect with eight key stations along the 10-kilometer Hinjawadi–Shivajinagar Metro corridor. The Chief Minister has announced ₹426 crore for the initiative, which focuses on providing last-mile connectivity within a 500-meter to 1.5-kilometer radius of each metro station. With Metro services expected to launch in the coming months, the road network will involve widening existing roads and constructing new links around major station hubs, including Megapolis Circle, Quadron Circle, Wipro, and Shivaji Chowk. Officials state that this station-specific planning will streamline commuter transit and significantly reduce traffic bottlenecks across the IT hub. #Hinjawadi #PuneMetro #PMRDA #MIDC #PuneInfrastructure — http://nitter.meowing.monster/ThePuneMirror/status/2107041595040411900#m Source: https://x.com/RaulBendu/status/2107332841264824730
