#EndaroMahanubhavulu - 2 shows each in #Bengaluru & #Chennai were done with over 4300 astikas cumulatively in the audience who were witness to the spectacle! DESIKA DAYA has spearheaded many such productions in the past! Personally, I have done 6 group dance productions, 4 individual productions, 50+ katha-nrityams and put together, I have worked with over 50 natya gurus! It has only been a great learning process! This production especially was very close to my heart. It stitches 14 bhaktas from different parts of the country, different time periods, and the multitude of challenges that they faced. All of them were strung into Tyagaraja’s iconic ‘Endaro Mahanubhavulu’ ❤️🙏🏽 Foremost, I have worked with a genius in this field - Smt Anithaguha (Anitha Guha's Bharathanjali) who flawlessly translated this vision into a visual spectacle. Her sincerity and devotion is what makes every step of hers a marvel. Ably supported by extremely talented students and hardworking parents, she is a natya-guru of this era! 💐 It has been twelve projects (including two movies) till date with Dr Rajkumar Bharathi & Sri Sai Shravanam, a pair that only delivers excellence. It has been my fortune to know this talented duo! Jnanachandra has led the LED placement, LED movie making, photography & videography with such passion! Desika Daya Patashala Sishyas & Parent volunteers have worked with such zeal. We additionally had volunteers for the ‘Guests of Honour’ in both places who delivered to precision. The MCs were Smt Rathna & Smt Priya, who presented the events with such clarity. Be it lighting (by Murugan & team), properties (by Shanmugam & team), or XYLO bands (that we have introduced in the history of Indian performing arts, by Raghini Muralidharan & team), they were just perfect. Sri Subhash Ganesan, the managing trustee of DESIKA DAYA has initiated charitable activities to the tune of 1.1 crore INR in the last 12 years with marvellous devotion. And the audience, were the most receptive we have ever seen!
