We at @ppcr_pune have been pushing for this for years in #Pune . Unfortunately little action is taken despite multiple appeals and agreement by all concerned . @Manojpochat @navalMH Richa Pinto (@richapintoi) Mumbai BJP president and MLA Ameet Satam has written to Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde to formulate a comprehensive policy to curb unauthorised banners and hoardings across the city, citing safety concerns and the need to regulate outdoor advertising. In a letter to the mayor, Satam called for a joint meeting involving the mayor, BMC administration and other stakeholders to frame a transparent and time-bound policy for permitting advertising structures and removing illegal ones. Satam said unauthorised advertising boards continue to be installed in several parts of the city despite court directions. He sought strict enforcement against those putting up such structures, including punitive action and registration of criminal cases against offenders. — http://nitter.meowing.monster/richapintoi/status/2107079851991789899#m
