Here’s how the CURE Act 2026, brought by CM A Revanth Reddy, benefits citizens of #Hyderabad within #ORR limits: 1. Register your property, get mutation automatically! No more running from office to office after buying a house. Every property will get a unique Integrated Property Identity Code linking all municipal records. 2. One property, one integrated bill! Property tax, water bills, sewerage charges and sanitation dues will be consolidated into a single CURE-1 bill. Municipal services, permissions and licences will also be accessible through a single portal. 3. Protection against sudden property tax hikes! Annual increases in property tax will be capped at 10%. If you currently pay ₹10,000, your tax cannot exceed ₹11,000 in the first year under the new cap. Properties up to 375 sq. ft. will continue to pay a nominal annual tax of ₹101. 4. Faster building permissions, less bureaucracy! Online approvals, time-bound decision-making, escalation of pending applications and provision for deemed approval will help curb unnecessary delays. 5. Easier licences, stronger business opportunities! Simplified licensing and designated night-economy zones will support businesses and enable Hyderabad’s urban economy to grow. 6. A fairer approach to minor violations! Civil penalties will replace criminal proceedings for many minor violations, with show-cause notices issued before penalties are decided.
