Circle, without permission or prior intimation. This is in contrary to the Hon’ble High Court’s directions of protesting at designated place. Initially they were requested to relocate to Freedom Park, they did not comply and hence were taken into preventive custody in accordance with law and subsequently released. Police acted with due restraint and sensitivity in the prevailing circumstances. BCP urge everyone to comply with Hon’ble High Court’s directions and conduct peaceful protests only at Freedom Park while respecting public convenience and order.
