Sai Prasad,ViKas Marmat has been directed to report to the General Administration Department (GAD) in Amaravati for further posting. The Collector and District Magistrate of Chittoor has been instructed to make necessary in-charge arrangements for the KADA post. The administrative action follows an FIR registered at the Cubbon Park police station against Marmat and three companions, identified as Abhay , Nitish and Roshan, for allegedly abusing and assaulting police personnel during an inspection at a pub on Residency Road. The other three individuals named as co-accused in the case are Abhay Uday Singh, Nitish and Roshan. According to the complaint, the incident occurred at around 1:30 AM at Cavore Bar and Restaurant. Acting on directives from the #Bengaluru City Police Commissioner to conduct late-night surveillance across establishments in Cubbon Park and Ashok Nagar limits, a CCB team led by Inspector Arun Salunke arrived at the pub alongside fellow inspectors and staff. While the police team was verifying identity documents of patrons to check for underage drinking and confirm operational compliance, the four accused picked an argument with the officers over the verification check. The altercation escalated when the group began hurling verbal abuses at the personnel. The accused then allegedly assaulted the complainant and fellow officers, obstructed them from discharging their public duties and issued threats. In his statement explaining the delay in filing the complaint later Saturday evening, Inspector Arun Salunke noted that he was on continuous duty through the night, had to seek medical treatment at a hospital following the physical assault and rested before submitting the written report. The Cubbon Park police have booked the four accused under several provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, including: Section 115(2),132,Section 351(2),Section 352 and Section 3(5). Further investigation is currently underway. @DCPCentralBCP @BlrCityPolice @AndhraPradeshCM Video — http://nitter.meowing.monster/path2shah/status/2109943056569147623#m Source: https://x.com/path2shah/status/2110588375371788477
