Read original#Mumbai #Mayor @TawdeRitu has called for a citywide campaign against #unauthorised flex #banners #posters and #advertisements The Mayor has written to #BMC #Commissioner @AshwiniBhide seeking immediate and strict action against the illegal banner issue. The Mayor has proposed the campaign under the slogan: “Shadu Bappa for 10 days, Flex Free Mumbai for 365 days.” Madam we had sent 2 #Legal notice to #License dept. #T ward & #MC against Illegal Banners, Posters & #Hoardings but Licence dept. replies "we have only 1 staff to remove banners". We hope atleast now they will get their act together & take strict action in larger public interest.
