A joint SEBI Financial Literacy Pavilion, themed “Samajh Se Investing Simple”, has been set up at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Chandigarh [UT] event from 30 October to 2 November 2026. The initiative brings together SEBI, NSE, MCX, BSE, CDSL, NSDL, MSE, CAMS, KFin Technologies and AMFI to strengthen investor awareness and encourage safe investing practices. The CII event was inaugurated by Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, Hon’ble Administrator of Chandigarh [UT] and Governor of Punjab. The SEBI Financial Literacy Pavilion was inaugurated by Shri Lakshmee Kant Yadav, IPS, ADGP-cum-Director, Bureau of Investigation, Punjab, in the gracious presence of Shri Gyanendra Niraj, GM, Regional Office (NRO), SEBI, and Shri Joginder Singh, VP, NSE, along with officials from SEBI, NSE and representatives of Securities Market Partners. Through interactive initiatives such as SCAM-NO, crosswords, quizzes, learning games and informative resources, the pavilion engages visitors on investor rights, safe investing practices and identifying financial frauds.
