Read originalPlease do not steal the #AQI #Airquality award from #Pune (AQI=207) @mohol_murlidhar @madhurimisal @SunetraA_Pawar ji Pune burns 10000kg of wood for mokshya blind faith in the open each evening.. Bhaumik Gowande (@bhaumikgowande) Mumbai AQI: 184. Delhi AQI: 180. At 9:51 AM today, both cities recorded unhealthy air quality. Mumbai's PM2.5 was 105 µg/m³, against Delhi's 101 µg/m³ Its time for MMR to have CAQM Mumbai. Or perhaps CAQM Maharashtra overseeing all million plus cities. Delhi’s CAQM, a dedicated regional authority coordinating air-pollution control across NCR, backs AQI-triggered GRAP framework, including restrictions on BS-III petrol and BS-IV diesel cars, older goods vehicles and polluting trucks at specified stages of AQI benchmarks. Mumbai needs equally transparent, enforceable action on vehicle emissions, not just construction dust. So the important question is, Mumbai's air is this polluted, where is its comprehensive, publicly accountable plan to curb transport emissions? I have been highlight on how Mumbai AQI has been more than Delhi for the past several weeks now. — http://nitter.meowing.monster/bhaumikgowande/status/2111317524042416594#m
