Look at @MumbaiPolice they are able to get deleted fake documentary from powerful political leader easily & lawfully (as it was fake)…but here in #Pune we are not able to stop #RoadRage pity crimes koyata Gang.. @aparanjape @MatruBhakt @sudhirmehtapune Dr. Manoj Pochat (@Manojpochat) Yesterday, around 11:40 PM, while returning from one meeting near #PuneAirport with a fellow colleague, I personally experienced a disturbing incident of road rage. An auto-rickshaw driver was driving erratically and first attempted to cut across a 2wheeler. The 2wheeler rider had to take evasive action to avoid a collision. The same auto driver then suddenly cut across our car, creating a potentially dangerous situation. Our driver simply asked him to drive carefully. Instead of responding calmly, the auto driver became aggressive, started using abusive language and attempted to provoke an argument with our driver. We chose not to engage and avoided further confrontation. This personal experience reinforces the concerns I raised earlier with authorities about increasing road rage, reckless driving and aggressive behaviour on Pune’s roads. I urge @CPPuneCity @PuneCityPolice , @DGPMaharashtra and @Dev_Fadnavis ji to strengthen traffic enforcement, respond promptly to citizens’ complaints and take preventive action. Citizens should not have to fear confrontation simply for asking someone to drive safely.
