Under the aegis of SEBI, NSE organised a Regional Investor Seminar for Awareness (RISA) in Kolkata on 31st October 2026, on the theme “Samajh se investing simple”. The seminar was graced by Shri Tuhin Kanta Pandey, Chairman, SEBI, as the Chief Guest. In his keynote address, he emphasised the importance of investor awareness, informed decision-making and investor protection measures like SEBI Check, SEBI Verified Badge, etc. These initiatives of SEBI facilitate trust and confidence in India’s securities markets. The seminar also featured an engaging panel discussion on “The Bond Blueprint: Regulatory Reforms and Market Dynamics,” bringing together perspectives on the evolving securities market landscape. The Moderator was Shri K. Sarvanan, CGM, SEBI and the panelists included Shri Vinod Kothari, Founder, Vinod Kothari Consultants, Shri Vineet Nahata, Founder Director, Power Gilt Treasuries Inc., and Shri Priyashis Das, CEO, Northern Arc Securities.
