Delhi Police has requested the closure of entry and exit gates at 57 metro stations from 9pm on Friday. They cited concerns regarding potential unruly crowd movements amid protests against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. As part of the preventive measures, Indian Railways has cancelled all Mail and Express trains arriving at New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin. The protests are scheduled to take place at Jantar Mantar on October 10.
