Read original✈️ #TamilNadu Cuts VAT on Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) at Chennai Airport More than Chennai, Trichy is gonna be on fire with privatization and 1% VAT. 🔥🎉 📉 TN govt has slashed VAT on ATF supplied to scheduled airlines at #Chennai #Airport from 29% down to 16%. 🌐 For airports other than Chennai (such as #Madurai , #Coimbatore , and #Tiruchirappalli ), the VAT for scheduled airlines has been heavily reduced from 29% to 1%. Additionally, the rate drops from 5% to 1% for scheduled operators using smaller aircraft (maximum take-off mass under 40,000 kg). ⏱️ Issued via a commercial taxes and registration department order, the tax concession will come into effect on Nov 1, 2026, and remain in force for a one-year period until Oct 31, 2027.
