Huge crowd and chaos reported from recently open @LuLu_Mall hyper market in Shenoy Nagar, #Chennai . Request LuLu group to look into this urgently before any disaster Sangeetha Kandavel (@sang1983) A NOTE OF CAUTION ABOUT LULU SUPERMARKET, SHENOY NAGAR, CHENNAI I visited Lulu Supermarket’s largest store at Shenoy Nagar Metro Station today, hoping for a pleasant shopping experience. Instead, it turned out to be an absolute nightmare. My sincere advice: Please avoid visiting this store for at least the first 10 days, especially if you are accompanying senior citizens or children. The arrangements were disastrous. Customers had to wait for more than two hours just for billing, with no proper queue management or planning at the counters. The store was packed, people were pushing one another, and several customers appeared to lose their way in the overwhelming crowd. To make matters worse, mobile network connectivity inside was poor, making it difficult to contact family members. The staff seemed completely unprepared to manage the massive turnout, and there was clearly inadequate manpower to handle the crowd. There was no visible, effective system to ensure an orderly and safe shopping experience. For a store of this scale, basic crowd management, sufficient billing counters, adequate staffing and proper customer assistance should have been priorities from day one. A grand opening means nothing if customers are left struggling in chaos. Lulu management must urgently address these issues before the situation leads to an unfortunate incident. Customer convenience and safety should never take a back seat to the excitement of a launch. — http://nitter.meowing.monster/sang1983/status/2109671493504532542#m
