Building Resilient Frameworks. Strengthening Maritime Readiness. #IndianCoastGuard hosted a Maritime Search and Rescue (M-SAR) Seminar at MRCC #Chennai from 10-11 October 2026. This vital initiative was organised under the aegis of the #ColomboSecurityConclave . The two-day event witnessed active participation of delegates from Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Bringing together key maritime stakeholders, this seminar focused on coordination, information sharing, interoperability and best practices for maritime emergency responses at sea. Driven by India’s #MAHASAGAR vision, ICG is collaborating towards a unified front for #SearchAndRescue operations.
