The 23 page investigation report was prepared by the Anti-SIR Alliance and Citizens’ Vote Protection Committee, two civil society coalitions, following ground verification across 100 polling booths in 25 Karnataka districts. Thanking the groups for their investigation, Rathee said they had travelled across districts over the past ten days and met voters whose names were allegedly deleted from electoral rolls, including people wrongly declared dead. Rathee also rejected accusations that he had come to bring about a regime change or was funded by Elon Musk or George Soros. “I don't want regime change. I don't want to change the government. Neither Elon Musk nor George Soros has funded me. I have come here with my own money,” he said. “Modi must be wondering what problem I have. I want to tell him that the entire public has a problem. The whole country has a problem,” Rathee said. Addressing BJP voters, he said, “Whether you vote for the BJP, Congress or support any other party, this is an issue that concerns every citizen.” Rathee cited alleged electoral-roll irregularities in West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Goa, challenging Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah to respond to the allegations. “This is why I say, ‘Vote chor, gaddi chhod’,” he said, adding that he was speaking as an ordinary citizen rather than on behalf of any political party. Calling those attending the protest patriots, Rathee said, “There are no greater patriots than those who have gathered here, and no greater traitors than those who are still protecting Gyanesh Kumar.” Video Video
